The Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) process for the B.C. Renaissance Capital Fund Ltd. (the “Renaissance Fund”) has now officially concluded. We are pleased to announce that as a result of this process, the Evaluation Committee led by the Ministry of Economic Development has selected the following six fund managers:

ARCH Venture Partners

Celtic House Venture Partners

Kearny Venture Partners

VantagePoint Venture Partners

Ventures West Management Inc.

Walden Venture Capital

Each of these fund managers has met the criteria for selection under the RFQ, and has demonstrated a commitment to pursuing investment opportunities in the province in the key technology sectors of clean technology, life sciences, information technology and new media.

The successful fund managers were introduced to the B.C. technology community at a formal public announcement and launch of the Renaissance Fund in Vancouver.
