Labour Sponsored Investment Funds |
| Labour-sponsored venture capital
corporations are registered under the Employee Investment Act and owned
by its shareholders. Its objective is to earn a competitive
return for shareholders through long-term equity investments in B.C.
companies. The Working Opportunity Fund raises equity capital
from B.C. investors who, receive a provincial tax credit of 15 per
cent and a federal tax credit of 15 per cent.
